A plain explanation of what data we collect, why, and for how long we keep it.
The data controller is Radici — genealogical research, website radicifamiliari.it. For any question about your data you can write to info@radicifamiliari.it.
The data you send through the contact form: name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the service you are interested in and your message. We also record the date and time your consent was given. If you commission a research, you will also send us personal data about your family members (names, dates, places): these are needed to carry it out.
To answer your request and, if you decide to commission the work, to conduct the research and deliver its result. The legal basis is the consent you give through the form checkbox (Article 6.1.a of Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and, for a commissioned research, the performance of the contract.
We keep requests received for up to 24 months after our last exchange with you, unless you commission a research: in that case the data are kept for the time needed for the work and for the legal obligations that follow.
The site is hosted on Lovable infrastructure, which also delivers requests through its own email service. Data are never sold or disclosed for commercial purposes; they may be processed on infrastructure outside the national territory, with the safeguards required by the Regulation.
At any time you can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing and receive your data in a readable format (portability). You can withdraw your consent by writing to info@radicifamiliari.it, without affecting processing already carried out. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
The site does not install its own profiling cookies. The hosting provider and the technical services that make the site work may use cookies or similar technologies necessary to transmit communications.
